King Technology

I created the dichlor shortage campaign to highlight a problem about to hit hot tub supply retailers and to showcase the King Technology solution to that problem. The campaign includes email, direct mail, social media and banner ads in which I brainstormed, concepted, wrote and designed all the materials.

The big idea for the campaign revolves around an ailment and cure concept. The ailment is a shortage of dichlor (a hot tub sanitizing chemical) and the panic it will cause retailers. The cure is the King Technology @ease floating hot tub sanitizing system.

The main focus and visualization of this campaign is on a in your face headline for greater messaging impact. The use of alliteration further drives home the point with the audience.

Use of bubbling, hot tub water imagery completes the concept with a no nonsense connection to the problem which is that the reader needs a hot tub sanitation solution for their business and their customers.

The concept for the direct mail piece is a postcard die-cut into the shape of a medical kit.

The recipient has an ailment and the cure is the King Technology @ease floating sanitation system.

The postcard is tabbed for mailing and would open much like a medical kit where the recipient would learn about the cure to the dichlor shortage.
