Greg Haakonson
As an Art Director and Graphic Designer with over 20 years of experience, I have applied my skills across many types of media—from print and direct mail to email and animation/video. In addition, I've also worked extensively with web and mobile platforms.
During my career, I have been involved in developing communication and design strategies for catalogs, magazines and email campaigns, including designing covers and feature stories, maintaining style guides, providing feedback to designers, conducting press checks, and developing new design templates. I have also been responsible for creating internal and client videos, as well as arranging, managing and directing photo shoots both locally and nationally.
In addition to designing, I have taught college and continual education courses on design, have written headlines, subject lines and article copy, served on numerous committees, served as head coach for bantam level hockey teams and held board positions. Those experiences demonstrate not only my ability to manage and create creative content, but also my ability to work with diverse groups, provide feedback and lead teams.
